This is the sign or placard which can be completed by the pool owner with their emergency phone number (use 9-1-1 unless there is another more direct telephone number), as well as the address and directional information needed to quickly access the pool. For example if you live at 123 Main Street, but the pool gate is accessible from Elm Street, which is the cross street – indicate all of that on the placard. The point is that someone who does not know all of that information may be the one calling emergency responders, and you may not be there to quickly relay this time-sensitive and critical information.
